My family
Okay. Here’s my family. The most recent pictures of us were taken at mom and John’s wedding at the Nashville temple. It was a little chilly. From left to right standing: Leigha holding Dallin, Adam, Liliana, Hunter, Brian, and me. Seated: Skyler, mom holding Gavin and Brennan, John, and Jaiden.

Skyler-ism
So, I’ve decided that I need to keep a blog since Skyler keeps saying such clever things. Here’s the first one for the record:
While reading a book about volcanoes, Skyler wanted to know if bugs died during the volcano too. I replied that of course bugs would have died. He commented, “When we step on spiders, they go to heaven and become spider angels.” Too cute. It kind of reminded me of what my dad would do when he came across a spider in the house. He would bend down to the spider and carry on a conversation that went something like this:
Oh! Hello, little spider! (pauses) What? Nobody loves you? Well, my mommy loves you and my daddy loves you, and you know what little spider? God loves you! Would you like to see God? (stomps on the spider)
LOL I thought it was so great that my dad would put on such theatrics to justify killing one of God’s tiniest creations. It is one of my favorite memories of him.
In other news, I have agreed to work for the census. Training lasts a week, and goes from 8-5. I hope my little munchkin can do it. It’ll be hard for me, I know.
Also, mom got remarried on February 7th in the Nashville temple. The lucky guy is John Holbert. He’s really a good man who treats mom right. I haven’t seen her this happy for a long, long time.
Just married!
